A Clinical Study of 123 Cases on the Urethral Anesthesia and Analgesia

Abstract
"In an effort to find a more satisfactory pain relieving agent for cystoscopic examinations and other urological procedures, various urethral topical anesthetics and analgesics were evaluated clinically. The procedures in this series included: Ureteral catheterization 56, cystoscopic 29, cystoscopic and panendoscopy 25, ureteral stone extraction 5, litholapaxy 4. panendoscopy and ureteral catheterization 2. urethral dilatation 3. panendoscopy 1. curettage 1,total 123.
